For nearly 40 years, Banff International String Quartet Competition has celebrated the art of chamber music while providing career support for emerging string quartets. BISQC 2025 which will be held between 25th - 31st August 2025, promises audiences a week of breathtaking performances, the opportunity to engage with fellow music-lovers, and the unparalleled mountain views of Banff National Park.

The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra, led by Principal Guest Conductor Sir Mark Elder, will embark on a tour from March 5–12, 2025, marking their first tour together. The orchestra will perform seven concerts across Austria, Germany, and the Netherlands, beginning with a mini-residency at Salzburg’s Festspielhaus. The programme will feature works by Rachmaninov, Sibelius, Beethoven, and Strauss.
